Here is a snippet from the Caddytips from Arizona National Golf Club:

    Hole 1
Straight, uphill par 5 537/508/489 yds.

Tee shot: A safe tee shot will be aimed center to right center fairway on this opening hole par 5. If you intend to go for the green in two a more aggressive line may be preferred off the tee. A shot played down the left half of the fairway will provide a better angle into the green. From the back tees a shot of 270 yds. can carry the bunker (240 yds. blue/220 yds. white).

Second shot: To lay up aim center fairway and try to leave yourself your favorite approach yardage into the green. Keep in mind that both this shot and your next shot will play club uphill. If you elect to go for the green in two the shot will play 1 club uphill and there is a small tree 30 yds. short on the right that can block your shot out. There is room to run a shot onto the putting surface just right of the greenside bunkers.

Approach shot: This shot will play club uphill. The hole is protected by two bunkers short left. Expect shots hit to the back of the green to release slightly as the putting surface runs slightly away from you. The green is 33 paces deep

Green: The front third of the green slopes slightly from back to front, the back two thirds of the putting surface run from front to back. The whole green tilts slightly from right to left. The grain on this green will pull slightly left as well.
