Here is a snippet from the Caddytips from Tustin Ranch Golf Club:

    Hole 9
Approach over water par 5 537/519/489 yds.

Tee shot: This slightly uphill tee shot should be played down the right hand side of the fairway in order to avoid the two fairway bunkers on the left hand side. The target line is the stubby palm tree. The fairway crests at 285 yards from the center of the green and at this point the fairway begins to slope downhill.

Second shot: From the fairway bunkers it is 235 yards to the water guarding the front of the green. This should be taken into account when choosing which club to hit. The water starts on the right hand side of the fairway at 80 yards from the center of the green. The fairway ends at 50 yards from the center of the green and drops off into the lake. Favor the left hand side of the fairway no matter what.

Approach shot: From this point a short shot over water remains. Beware of the small pot bunker directly over the green. There is also a pot bunker between the right side of the green and the lake. The green is 28 paces deep.

Green: This green slopes from back to front and tilts from right to left toward the water. The back and left side of this green is separated by a steep tier from the front and right portions. Stay below the hole.
