In your own words, what sets your store apart from your local competitors?

We have the largest selection of golf equipment in the area and it's all backed by our 90-day playability guarantee. Also, everyone who works here are golfers. This game is our passion just like it is yours. The people coming through our doors are not only our customers, but our playing partners and competitors. We want them to be the best golfers they can be so we can strive to be better.

What is your favorite local course and why? What is your favorite course ever played? What is your one top bucket list course still to play?

It's hard to pick a favorite course in and around JAX. It seems like there's golf to be played at every turn. I'm just hoping to get around to playing all of them. I have had the pleasure now of playing Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach twice. Nothing else has been able to eclipse the experience of being on those fairways. There are lots of great courses still left to play but the Old Course at St. Andrews has to top the bucket list.

How long have you been playing golf, and how long have you been in the golf business?

I have been playing golf since I was 4 years old. After my first 10 years of golf, an injury led me to switch to left handed. I've been in the golf business for almost 25 years, working just about every job from cart staff to Head Pro. I have been with the Worldwide Golf family since 2012.

What is your most cherished golf memory, experience, moment, or win?

Just before my best friend in the world passed away, we had a week long golf trip in Monterey. We played Bayonet, Blackhourse, Pasatiempo, Spyglass, Pebble Beach, and I made my 4th hole in one on #7 at Poppy Hills. Looking back, the memories made on that trip and the rounds he and I have played together across this country over the years are ones that I will cherish for a lifetime.

If you had one piece of advice for any golfer, what would it be?

Golf is supposed to be an escape from the stress and responsibilities of our everyday lives. We all take it too seriously some times. My best advise is to find a good group of buddies and just have fun out there.
