In your own words, what sets your store apart from your local competitors?

90 day guarantee, customer service, the tenure of the staff, and the quality and quantity of merchandise in the store.

What is your favorite local course and why? What is your favorite course ever played? What is your one top bucket list course still to play?

Our favorite golf course is San Diego's most famous, Torrey Pines Golf Course. Our favorite golf course ever played is a tough decision. There are so many good ones out there. We are more interested in what yours is! Our top bucket list golf course has to be Augusta National. We can truly be golf-happy once everyone has said they have played Augusta National!

How long have you been playing golf, and how long have you been in the golf business?

I've been golfing 47 years and in the business for over 30 years.

What is your most cherished golf memory, experience, moment, or win?

My favorite golf memories are playing with my grandfather and brother at Burning Tree or anywhere else. I also loved golfing with my wife on our honeymoon in Monterrey, Scotland, and Ireland. Another great memory is caddying at Cypress Point and in the AT&T for Clint Eastwood and Craig McCallister. I also am proud to have won Tony Gwynn's golf tournament as well as becoming Club Champion of the Pacific Beach Golf Affiliates.

If you had one piece of advice for any golfer, what would it be?

If you have good etiquette and hit the ball when it's your turn, you can play with anyone.
