The pride of a father. The soul of a rebel. The heart of a champion.
It’s not often that the “feel good” movie of the year is not only a true story, but one about the game we love so much.
Tommy’s Honor is that movie. And it arrives in theaters on April 14.
Based on the true story of Old Tom Morris and Young Tom “Tommy” Morris, the dynamic father-son team who ushered the modern game of golf, Tommy’s Honour is a rare sports biography that every avid golfer should watch.
According to Worldwide Golf Shops President Al Morris, “Worldwide Golf Shops is proud to support this highly entertaining new golf film. We believe Tommy’s Honour is great for the golf community and will inspire juniors to golf, to reach for more than expected, to break glass ceilings and to appreciate character as well as family.”
Legendary CBS Sportscaster Jim Nantz said about the film, “Tommy’s Honour is a beautiful tribute to the game. I felt like we were dropped out of a time machine and given the chance “to feel” what golf was like over a century and half ago. For those of us stateside, the extra U in Honour is for YOU to make sure to see this most authentic cinematic achievement.”
The film will be released nationwide in theaters by Roadside Attractions on April 14. For more information and to view the movie trailer, visit www.TommysHonour.com. We invite you to engage in Tommy’s Honour social media: www.Facebook.com/TommysHonor and www.Twitter.com/TommysHonour (@TommysHonour).
