Many golfers have decided that it is better to be red when it comes to their flat sticks, and engineers at TaylorMade have responded to that trend by introducing an expansion of its TP Collection of putters.
Dubbed TP Red, they include five variations fo the popular Ardmore model as well as a Chaska. Each features a milled 304 stainless steel head and utilizes the company’s popular 6061 aluminum Pure Roll insert, which is designed to promote a better roll and reduce skidding.
TaylorMade first employed red with a putter in 2016. High-contrast coloring and a variety of sight lines are intended to make aligning a putt easier while also giving the club a cleaner and more premium look.
Each TP Red has a head weight of 355 grams, a loft of 3.5 degrees and a 70-degree lie angle. They are available in 34- and 35-inch lengths and come with interchangeable sole weights.
