Srixon Introduces the All-New Z 785, Z 585, Z F85 and Z H85

Creating what they call their fastest, longest, yet most workable series of woods yet, Srixon presents the Z 585 and Z 785 drivers, as well as Z F85 fairway woods and Z H85 hybrids.

What makes the Z Series faster and longer?

It all starts with the clubface. Srixon created their thinnest, lightest, hottest driver face yet, the Ti51AF Cup Face. According to the company, the bigger the face, the more it can flex, and that flexibility is part of what generates explosive ball speeds at impact.

Srixon stretched the flexible face area across both the crown and sole of the club, unlike other drivers whose faceplates tend to be smaller and therefore offer less flex.

Because a thinner clubface produces more flex and speed, Srixon utilizes a stronger alloy – Ti51AF Titanium – which makes it 8% stronger than conventional 6-4 Titanium, allowing the company to build its thinnest face for a driver yet.

However, it’s one thing to be long, but if you’re stuck wayward right or left in the rough, or even worse, OB, that distance does you little good. Srixon delivers coveted forgiveness thanks to their 5-layer Lightweight Carbon head which allows them to distribute weight to the perimeter of the club head for increased heel-toe MOI (Moment of Inertia). This, in turn, lessens the dispersion rate of your drives.

Not done there, Srixon wanted your driver to work in tune with the characteristics of you and your swing, so they created a fully customizable driver with an adjustable hosel sleeve which lets you tailor the lie, loft, and face angle of your driver to get the most out of your swing.

The Z Series drivers come in two styles to match your game – the Z 785 which offers a Tour look, feel and workability for the better player, and the Z 585 which provides a higher launch and maximum forgiveness for those higher-handicap players who need it.
