The Official World Golf Rankings has a new Number 1 player. After his win at Memorial, Jon Rahm sits atop the board as the best player in the world.

Rahm wasn’t shy when discussing this achievement, before he attained it. He wanted to be just like childhood idol, fellow Spaniard Seve Ballesteros. It is important to him.

Rahm had a five shot lead going into 18, or was it a three shot lead? Even if his ball moved as Faldo would put it, “just a smidgen,” the lead was still enough to cruise to victory and give Jack a fist bump.
