The new King F7 and King F7+ drivers from Cobra employ a number of new technologies – including an adjustable weight system designed to optimize ball flights and shot trajectories and a re-engineered Forged Ti-811 E9 face – that are made to enhance distance and forgiveness. At the same time, the clubs feature what company officials call the Cobra Connect Powered by Arccos system. That uses an ultra-light sensor in the grip to track the distance and accuracy of every tee shot. And to activate it, a golfer need only pair the sensor in his driver with the free Arccos Driver smartphone app.

The two clubs share other attributes, like a multi-material TeXtreme Carbon Fiber Crown that frees up discretionary weight so technicians can manipulate the centers of gravity more effectively. The drivers also use the MyFly8 with SmartPad technology, giving golfers the choice of eight loft settings. The F7s even come with the same Lamkin REL grips, with the only real difference between the two models being that the King F7 boasts a larger clubface and address profile than the F7+, which comes with a traditional-sized head and lower loft range.
