It was an all TaylorMade final in Austin at the WGC Dell Technology Match Play Championship with Dustin Johnson defeating TaylorMade teammate John Rahm on the final hole.
This makes the second World Golf Championship in a row for Johnson dominated in Mexico just 3 weeks ago.
And all eyes will be on DJ as we’re creeping up on Augusta in another week.
Not to say Rahm won’t be in the mix. TaylorMade’s CEO David Abeles made the prophetic prediction to us at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show that Rahm would be the company’s “breakout player of the year” (click the below 6 second clip of him making his prognostication).
He did the same last year predicting Dustin Johnson for the same.
I think we’ll call Abeles this week to get his early pick for 2017 green jacket winner!
