It had been 2,702 days since his last win at 2013 Honda Classic, so it was a big “Roll Tide” win for Bama alum Michael Thompson at the 3M Open.
The 35-year old veteran only needed 2 putts for par to seal the victory on the 18th, but rolled 15-footer for birdie to put an exclamation point on an emotional win.
