Available at Worldwide Golf, the 2027 lineup expands Mizuno’s modular concept with a new Zero Torque configuration and additional head shapes, giving golfers more ways to build a putter around their stroke, preferred look and feel.

Behind all of those choices is the craftsmanship Mizuno has long brought to its forged equipment, combining a 1025 steel body with precision milling and strategically placed aluminum.

Zero Torque Joins the M.CRAFT X Family

The biggest addition for 2027 is Mizuno’s new Z face and hosel configuration.

The shaft axis passes through the putter’s center of gravity in three-dimensional space, reducing the head’s natural tendency to rotate toward a particular resting position. That allows a golfer to have greater influence over face angle and stroke path rather than having the head dictate the motion.

Mizuno specifically introduces the M.CRAFT X Z2 and Z3 as part of this expansion, bringing the Zero Torque concept into the interchangeable M.CRAFT X system.

Start With the Shape That Fits Your Eye

M.CRAFT X gives golfers five head profiles to choose from: Triple Wide, Dome Mallet, Square Mallet, Round Mallet and Wing Mallet.

Each presents a different look behind the ball while offering its own combination of alignment characteristics and forgiveness. Golfers can then pair the preferred head with one of four hosel configurations – Double Bend, Slant Neck, Plumber’s Neck or Zero Torque Z – to influence offset, toe hang and how the putter behaves during the stroke.

Instead of tying a particular head to only one neck style, the system allows those choices to work independently.

Change the Weight to Change the Feel

Two interchangeable sole weights provide another tuning point.

Mizuno offers 7-, 14- and 21-gram weights, allowing golfers to alter overall head weight and swing feel according to personal preference or playing conditions. A player who prefers a different sensation on faster or slower greens can make that adjustment without changing the entire putter.

The interchangeable weights allow golfers to fine-tune head weight and swing feel before a round or during practice.

Forged Steel Meets Precision Milling

Underneath the modular construction is a 1025 steel forged body, giving the M.CRAFT X the responsive feedback associated with Mizuno’s forging expertise.

A CNC-milled face is designed to promote dependable roll and speed control, while a milled aluminum back removes weight from areas where it isn’t needed.

That construction helps Mizuno maintain a substantial mallet footprint while strategically distributing weight throughout the head.

Blade-Like Dynamics in a Larger Profile

Mizuno designed the M.CRAFT X with a relatively shallow center of gravity to give the putter swing characteristics closer to those of a smaller blade.

At the same time, the larger head shape and adjustable weighting provide forgiveness when impact moves away from the center.

For golfers who enjoy the way a blade moves but prefer more visual presence behind the ball, that blend gives the M.CRAFT X a distinctive performance profile.
