When it comes to the golf gear he uses on the PGA Tour, the irons and wedges in Bryson DeChambeau’s bag are what attract most of the attention. That is no real surprise given that they are all approximately the same length, that of a typical 7-iron.

But the former Southern Methodist University standout also is receiving notice these days for the shoes he has been wearing in competition, the new Ignite Spikeless Sport from Puma Golf.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of that product is the four-way stretch waterproof mesh upper that is made to be both breathable and supportive – and that is made to work with a full-grain, leather saddle to give the Spikeless Sport a unique feel and look. As for the outsole, it boasts 39 strategically placed hexagon nubs as well as 24 chevron-shaped lugs to enhance traction and stability. Detailing includes a leather pull-tab, reflective laces and a U-shaped heel clip for extra support.
