The i200 iron offers the company’s customary clean look but with changes to the face and cavity structure that promote great forgiveness, exceptional feel and distance. Though conceived for shot-makers, the feel of the iron makes it suitable for every type of golfer.The head of the club is de-signed to pro-mote distance but also horizontal and vertical trajectory control.

“I’m most excited about the Ping i200, in part, because of the rich history of the i family of irons,” said Nate McDonough, Marketing and Purchasing Assistant for Worldwide Golf Shops. “The newest rendition offers a player’s top line with high-launching sole weight characteristics, a rare combination. It should fit perfectly between the much-beloved G and iblade families. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see the i200 irons on tour in 2017.

”Meanwhile, the new Glide2.0 wedges are a major break-through for Ping, particularly in the sharper groove edges that increase spin rates and trajectory control, including lower ball flights and consistent carry distances. Closer to the green,the wedges interact well with a variety of turfs and the ball reacts precisely off the face, providing more control.

“The Glide wedge is new and improved in the form of the 2.0 version,” McDonough said. “Not only does it offer more spin off each shot by utilizing tighter groove dispersion, it also became more versatile for every lie by offering improved grind options. With wedges, versatility is key.
