Rogue Irons Take Aim at Specifics

There are many similarities in the three models that make up the new Rogue iron line from Callaway Golf. They all use 360 Face Cup and VFT technologies to expand the portion of the face that delivers fast ball speed, so off-center hits, as well as those on the sweet spot, go farther.

Rogue_Iron_2Another feature they share is tungsten weighting in the long irons, so the center of gravity can be positioned more precisely and more optimally, for better launch and control. And the Rogue, Rogue Pro, and Rogue X employ urethane microspheres to enhance feel and sound without compromising face flex or ball speed.

While the standard version of Rogue is geared toward average players who are looking for an iron that is long, accurate and easy to hit, the Rogue Pro is made for better players who fancy a more compact clubhead and minimal offset as well as thinner soles and top lines so they can better work their shots and control their trajectories.

As for the Rogue X, it is lighter in weight, in an effort to make the club longer in length, and comes with stronger lofts. In addition, a wide sole has been used to pull the CG low and deep for easier launch and longer carry.
