The Spider putter, TaylorMade’s most popular putter in company history and one of the most popular putters on the PGA Tour in 16’-17’ is taking the next step in its evolution by partnering with Blast Motion Sensor to produce TaylorMade’s first integrated golf sensor product in company history. The result, the TaylorMade Spider Interactive.

The Spider Interactive putter is a combination of three things – TaylorMade Spider Putter, Blast Motion (Sensor) technology, and a SuperStroke grip. It works by automatically capturing valuable stroke metrics in a non-intrusive design built to fit into the putters’ grip. By matching up with a mobile app (now available for iOS, and available in Q2 for Android), users can see the critical stroke metrics like backstroke time, forward stroke time, tempo, impact stroke speed, and face rotation to analyze stroke details and improve putting with ease. Along with what TaylorMade and Blast Motion have built into the putter, consumers can also utilize other features in the app like video recording and playback capabilities to further analyze their stroke and tutorial videos to improve their putting.

Spider Interactive putters powered by Blast are constructed the same as the renowned Spider Tour putters with a 304 stainless steel frame combined with a lightweight 6061 aluminum body enabling weight to be positioned at the extremities, providing improved stability and high MOI. TaylorMade’s popular, tour-proven milled aluminum Pure Roll insert with a gunmetal finish to promote better forward roll is incorporated into the design along with increased directional accuracy and improved distance control for the ultimate putting experience. Lastly, the sensor’s lightweight design does not add any additional weight to the putter, giving the Spider Interactive putter ultimate putting performance that we come to expect from TaylorMade Golf.

Included with the Spider Interactive are a Blast charging pad, micro USB cable, sensor installation key, live sensor, yellow filler plug (inserted for conforming use in tournament play) and storage pouch.

Pricing & Availability:

The Spider Interactive Powered by Blast is available at a Worldwide Golf Shops location near you starting April 27, 2018. They will be offered in few different models including an L-neck (21° toe hang) or double bend (face-balanced) hosel in 34” and 35” lengths in both RH and LH, coming in TaylorMade’s platinum colorway with a full front/back sightline in black.
