Everything You Need to Know About the Vokey SM10 Oil Can Wedges

There’s something about a wedge that looks as good as it performs. And few names deliver on both fronts quite like Titleist’s Vokey Design. Now, golfers can find a fresh take on a classic look – paired with the latest in short-game performance – thanks to the launch of the limited-edition Vokey Design SM10 Oil Can wedges, now available at Worldwide Golf.

The club’s exclusive finish gives a nod to the past while taking a big step forward in both form and function. Applied using a PVD process, the rich copper hue is built to last and minimizes glare at address. It’s a distinctive, tour-inspired look that brings timeless style into today’s performance conversation. Paired with a matching copper-toned Golf Pride Z-Grip and a Brushed Chrome Project X shaft, it’s a standout option for players who want something different, without giving up an ounce of playability.

Engineered for Better Wedge Play

While the finish catches the eye, it’s the SM10’s performance that has made it the most played wedge line on the PGA TOUR. Backed by Master Craftsman Bob Vokey’s three keys to great wedge play – shot versatility, distance and trajectory control, and maximum spin – the lineup is all about precision and confidence from any lie.

Shot Versatility

The SM10 family features six tour-proven sole grinds (F, S, M, K, T and D), available across 25 unique loft, bounce and grind combinations. This makes it easier for players to dial in the right fit based on their swing type and common course conditions. Whether you’re trying to add spin from a tight lie or pop one out of a deep bunker, playing a properly fit wedge gives you more options – and better results.

Distance and Trajectory Control

Through progressive CG placement, the SM10 wedges are designed to provide a smooth transition from your irons to your most lofted clubs. In the 46-52° range, the CG is lower for consistent distance gapping. From 54° and up, the CG moves higher and more forward to lower trajectory and to keep the face square through impact. The result is a more solid feel, predictable flight, and tighter dispersion across your wedge set.

Maximum Spin, Shot After Shot

The patented Spin Milled TX9 grooves are individually cut based on loft and finish, then heat treated to double the durability of the edge. Lower-lofted wedges (46-54°) feature narrower, deeper grooves, while higher-lofted wedges (56-62°) are wider and shallower to suit finesse shots. Micro-texture between the grooves adds even more spin control on partial swings and delicate chips.

Progressive Shaping by Loft

SM10 wedges are shaped to inspire confidence no matter what shot you’re facing. Lower lofts feature a compact profile and straighter leading edge to blend cleanly with your irons. Higher lofts adopt a more rounded leading edge and slightly larger footprint, helping you stay aggressive with open-faced shots or tough greenside lies.
