Congratulations to Matthieu Pavon for capturing his first PGA Tour win in his 11th start at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. In an untypical Saturday finish on the Tour, Pavon birdied 18 to finish at 13 under, outlasting a group of contenders many of whom were, like him, looking for their first PGA Tour win.
Nicolai Hojgaard, playing in the final group with Pavon, finished with a two-putt birdie on 18 from 49 feet forcing Pavon having to make his eight-footer for the win.
