Bushnell golf takes its GPS game to the next level with new Wingmans

Bushnell Golf has unveiled two new additions to its popular Wingman GPS Speaker lineup—the Wingman View and the Wingman Mini.  The excitement is palpable.

“These additions allow us to uniquely deliver both music and GPS distances in one package,” says Derek Schuman, Senior Brand Manager for Bushnell Golf. “Both of these products feature our newly added first tee introductions and custom sounds bites, and as well as our integrated BITE magnetic cart mount that allows you to conveniently attach your Wingman device to the cart bar.”

The new Wingman GPS Speakers will be available from Worldwide Golf Shops nationwide beginning in April. According to Schuman, Wingman View takes Bushnell’s speaker game to the next level.

“We launched the Wingman in the spring of 2020, and it took the golf market by storm,” he says. “Taking key insights and learnings from the Wingman, we are upping our game in the golf GPS speaker category with the Wingman View.”

Indeed, the Wingman View elevates its predecessor in every way. Combining GPS and Bluetooth technologies and featuring an all-new LCD screen, the Wingman View provides players audible and visual front, center, and back distances, and up to six visual hazards per hole, all while listening to the music of their choice through mobile applications.

The magnetic BITE remote also has been upgraded to give golfers total control of the device without having to use their phone. Schuman notes that the upgraded remote still gives provides audible GPS distances as well as custom sound bites. The remote also allows users to change songs or adjust volume when they are away from the speaker.

Meanwhile, the Wingman Mini, with its 10-hour battery life and carabiner clip to attach to your golf bag or belt loop, brings the same functionality as the Wingman View in a much smaller package.

“With its IPX7 waterproof rating, the Wingman Mini will be your go-to speaker for distances on the course, as well as your other adventures,” Schuman says. “Both speakers were designed with the purpose of minimizing the number of times you need to interface with your phone on the course. Once you start your round in the Bushnell Golf mobile app, you can put down your phone and let the Wingman be your caddy.”
