Callaway’s new Epic drivers and fairways are built for speed

            Callaway has a new family of Epic drivers and fairway metals for 2021, and they’re built to deliver one important ingredient to your swing: Speed.

            Built with Callaway’s new artificial-intelligence designed Jailbreak Speed Frame, the fast and furious drivers include the Epic Speed, the Epic Max and the Epic Max LS. The new structural design helps create stability in the club head and promotes an increase in ball speeds across the face.

            “For me it was such as easy transition into Epic,” said Callaway’s new marquee PGA Tour player Jon Rahm. “It’s really long, the ball speeds are high, and I know that I can control it.”

            Another component of the club’s construction is the A.I.-designed Flash Face, which has been specifically engineered to optimize the Jailbreak Speed Frame and which contains super strong titanium to increase speed and forgiveness.

            All three drivers feature a 460cc club head with the Speed version providing players a semi-draw bias and lots of forgiveness. The Max (draw bias) and Max LS (neutral) offer adjustable perimeter weighting, with the Max providing the most forgiveness of the three clubs and the highest launch angles. For low launch and low spin, the Max LS is your speed demon of choice.

            As for the fairway metals, two models are available – the Epic Speed and Epic Max – and both feature A.I.-designed Velocity Blades to help increase ball speeds.
