Every round has a moment when a tight pitch, a half-swing approach, or a bunker shot needs to come off just right. That’s where wedges earn their keep. With the new Titleist Vokey Design SM11 wedges available at Worldwide Golf, players have a fresh set of tools designed for those situations when contact, flight, and spin matter most.
The SM11 lineup, available in Tour Chrome, Nickel and Jet Black, represents the most complete Vokey offering to date, pairing refined shaping with meaningful performance updates designed to help golfers control trajectory, distance, and stopping power with greater consistency.
Built Around Better Contact
At the heart of SM11 is an expanded matrix of loft, bounce, and grind options – 27 configurations across six proven grinds. The goal is simple: help golfers strike the ball in the center of the grooves more often, where spin and feel are most reliable. Different swings, turf conditions, and shot preferences demand different sole designs, and SM11 leans into that reality rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.
New additions like the .06K lob wedge offer a low-bounce alternative for players who like to slide the club under the ball, while the new 44.10F fills a growing need for golfers who want Vokey wedge performance in a stronger pitching-wedge loft to dial in their gapping.
More Consistent Flight From Shot to Shot

One of the most important changes in SM11 is something most golfers will never see – center of gravity placement. In previous generations, CG could shift slightly between grinds within the same loft. With SM11, CG is identical across all grinds in a given loft, removing a variable from the fitting process and producing more predictable ball flights.
That precision extends throughout the set. Lower-lofted wedges feature a CG positioned closer to the face center to blend smoothly with irons and control full swings. Higher-lofted wedges shift the CG higher and slightly toward the heel, promoting a flatter flight and a squarer face on finesse shots. Sand wedge lofts split the difference, offering versatility for both full and partial swings.
Spin Where You Need It Most

Spin Milled grooves remain a cornerstone of Vokey design, and SM11 pushes them further with three groove shapes tailored to different loft ranges. Pitching and gap wedges use narrower, deeper grooves for full swings, while lob wedges feature wider, shallower grooves to manage debris on touch shots around the green. Sand wedges bridge the two designs.
Thanks to tighter manufacturing tolerances, SM11 grooves also carry increased volume, helping retain spin from rough and damp conditions. A new directional face texture adds friction and prolongs ball contact, giving players more control on chips, pitches, and open-face shots.
To extend performance over time, SM11 wedges receive a high-frequency heat treatment in the impact area, improving groove durability and helping maintain spin characteristics round after round.
Why Fitting Matters

With this many loft, bounce, and grind combinations available, fitting becomes a major advantage. Finding the right setup isn’t just about loft gaps – it’s about how the sole interacts with the turf and how the club performs on the shots you face most often. Worldwide Golf’s fitting options make it easier to dial in a wedge setup that complements your swing and course conditions.
