When it comes to irons, most golfers focus on topline, offset, and shape at address. Cobra focused on what’s inside the head. The new 2026 KING iron lineup, now available at Worldwide Golf, uses 3D printing to reshape how weight is distributed inside the clubhead – subtle on the outside, purposeful on the inside.
By lowering the center of gravity and refining internal structure, Cobra Golf has concentrated on launch, distance consistency, and turf interaction without straying from clean, traditional shaping. The technology works quietly, but the results show up in how the ball flies and carries throughout the set.
2026 Cobra KING Irons

The standard KING irons feature a traditional profile paired with stronger lofts, aimed at players with average to faster swing speeds and steeper attack angles. At address, the shape stays compact and straightforward. Beneath that profile, 3D printing allows weight to sit lower in the head, supporting a penetrating launch window with steady carry.
The hollow-body construction is filled with polymer, which moderates sound and refines feel at impact. Rather than a sharp or hollow tone, contact feels solid and controlled. Across the face, 360 SpeedShell combined with H.O.T. Face Technology helps maintain ball speed on off-center strikes, which can help tighten distance gaps and dispersion patterns over time.
Cobra also introduced a revised SKID sole design. With added leading-edge bounce and a flatter mid-sole, the club moves through the turf more cleanly whether your swing tends to be steep or shallow, promoting more consistent contact from a variety of lies.
2026 Cobra KING MAX Irons

The KING MAX irons build on the same 3D-printed foundation but shift the emphasis toward launch and forgiveness. With two-degree weaker lofts and a slightly larger head shape, the MAX model suits golfers with average to moderate swing speeds and shallower attack angles who want help getting the ball airborne.
Additional offset, a wider sole, and a longer blade length contribute to added stability at impact. Despite the larger footprint, the shaping remains balanced behind the ball. Internally, the lowered center of gravity works alongside SpeedShell and H.O.T. Face Technology to support consistent face response across more of the hitting area.
The polymer-filled hollow body refines sound and feel here as well, while the SKID sole continues to promote smoother turf interaction and cleaner strikes.
2026 Cobra Women’s KING MAX Irons

The women’s KING MAX irons follow the same larger-profile blueprint, designed to promote higher launch and steady carry distance. The loft structure and weight placement help the ball climb more easily while maintaining stability through impact.
SpeedShell face technology, hollow-body construction, and polymer filling combine to deliver consistent response across the face with controlled acoustics. The SKID sole once again supports reliable turf interaction, helping maintain solid contact from fairway and rough alike.
