Things are about to heat up on the putting greens with the arrival of Odyssey’s new Square 2 Square Tri-Hot putters. Available at Worldwide Golf, the putters go beyond bold looks – they bring meaningful changes to the zero torque category, giving players a setup that feels comfortable and square from the start. With premium materials, carefully balanced weighting, and distinct head shapes, the Tri-Hot family offers dependable feel and control without overcomplicating your stroke.
Let’s take a closer look at what sets them apart:
A new take on zero torque

Odyssey’s Square 2 Square Tri-Hot putters take a fresh approach to zero torque design by repositioning the center of gravity forward – using a carefully weighted blend of aluminum, steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten. The shift allowed engineers to place the hosel directly on the topline, creating a balanced setup that supports a more natural, square alignment at address. The result is a putter that feels comfortable in your hands and stays steady through the stroke, with no need to adjust your posture or change your routine.
Ai-Dual Insert and FRD groove

Consistency and feel are key on the greens, and Odyssey’s new insert system delivers on both. Each Tri-Hot putter features an Ai-Dual Insert that’s engineered with artificial intelligence to combine a soft outer urethane layer with a firmer inner layer. The goal is simple: more consistent ball speed across the face and better forward roll, even when contact isn’t dead center.
That’s paired with a newly developed Forward Roll Design (FRD) groove. Angled at 19 degrees and deeper than previous versions, the groove works with the dual-layer insert to promote quicker, cleaner roll up and down the face.
Grip and shaft upgrades

The Tri-Hot lineup also introduces Odyssey’s new Pistol Plus grip, developed by analyzing the most widely used models on Tour. It’s a mid-sized profile with defined edges, designed to sit comfortably in your hands and help with face awareness throughout the stroke.
Each putter also comes equipped with the Black SL 120 shaft, which is heavier and stiffer than Odyssey’s SL 90. Developed through feedback from professional players, the shaft adds stability without feeling overly rigid. For players opting for the Jailbird Cruiser, a longer SL 140 shaft is paired with a 17-inch grip to match that setup’s slightly extended build.
Four head shapes, one standout family

The Tri-Hot series includes four distinctive head shapes, each offering its own alignment cues and balance profiles:
• Tri-Hot #7: A popular fang-style head with strong alignment framing and high MOI for players who like a confident visual at address.
• Tri-Hot Jailbird: A wider, squared-off head that emphasizes forgiveness and structure for those who prefer a more stable look.
• Tri-Hot Jailbird Cruiser: Based on the Jailbird but built at 38 inches with a heavier head, longer shaft, and extended grip for golfers who prefer a counterbalanced feel.
• Tri-Hot Rossie: A compact, rounded mallet for players who want smooth visual flow with the added benefits of the Tri-Hot forward CG design.
