Maintain Swing Posture – Titleist Performance Institute

Two major parts of the golf swing are flexibility and having good posture. A lack of flexibility in the golf swing may lead to a number of issues, including bad posture. In this Play Better Golf segment, TPI co-founders Dave Phillips and Dr. Greg Rose take a look at one of the best-looking swings in the world, PGA Tour pro and Titleist staffer, Adam Scott, and highlight his unbelievable flexibility and ability to maintain his posture throughout his swing as a key to his consistent ball striking. There are two important things to note here; if you have good hip flexibility you can keep pelvic posture and if you have good thoracic spine mobility you can maintain shoulder tilt. Improve your flexibility and posture and that will bring you closer to that Adam Scott like swing you’ve been looking for!
