Interviewer:  As of Bubba, we introduced the Glide 2.0. we did some testing today. Give me your initial thoughts on the new Glide 2.0 wedge.

Bubba Watson: Well, you got to remember, I used a lob wedge everywhere I go inside of 100 yards. I used a lob wedge, and so it has to be able to do so many things for me, hit the ball low, high, check, release. With the new sole, the new grind on the sole, it gives me that workability we’re looking for all around the green, different shots that I need to hit to score. Talking about the spin, the spin that I need, with the extra grooves on it. I think it’s two extra grooves on the club.

Interviewer: That’s right.

Bubba Watson: With that, it’s going to be able to grab the ball more and give it the check and stop or the backspin when I need it on a fuller shot.

Interviewer: Do you think that compliments what you do with your wedges, the Glide 2.0 and the new grind and …

Bubba Watson: Yeah, sure because of the way that the grind is done on the club. It’s easy to turn it over, to work it through the ground, and play that little lower shot, but also have the check with extra grooves. I can still turn it over because of the sole, can fight through the ground and do the things that I need it to do.
