Single Length Clubs – Could They Work for You?

When Bryson DeChambeau’s came bursting onto the scene by winning the NCAA individual and U.S. Amateur championships, a buzz began to form about his unique swing and a bag that consisted of single length irons. The main though that almost every golfer had was simply, “does it work?” Following his win last week at the John Deere Classic, the buzz still continues.

Cobra PUMA ambassador and PGA Tour instructor to the best players in the world, Claude Harmon III, talks about the benefits of One Length irons and why you should give them a try.

Claude Harmon III: One length can be a fantastic option for you because they’re so easy to hit. You’re going to hit your long irons more solid because the golf ball is going to be in the same place every time, you’re not gonna have to worry about where that ball position is and your distance from the golf ball is going to be consistent.

The length of your backswing should be pretty consistent because of the set up but with the contact and the way that you hit your short irons you’ll see the golf ball get into the air a lot more.
