Odyssey Golf engineers endowed their new Toe Up putter with something called “stroke-balanced technology,” so players can minimize twisting and reduce torque when they putt – and get the club-face back to square more easily. And they say they accomplished that by strategically placing more weight toward the face, to better balance the putter.
In addition, they made the shaft axis so that the center of gravity is aligned with the center of the face.
At the same time, those same technicians employed what they describe as a “tour-proven” Metal-X face, which boasts a “perfectly flat” surface that works with a chemical etching to promote a purer roll.
They also gave the Toe Up the trio of white alignment lines that had proved effective with Odyssey’s Marxman line to make it easier to get a putt on line – and that are designed to “absolutely
pop off” the charcoal PVD finish of the Toe Up.
Available in two head shapes, #1 and #9, the Toe Up also comes with a SuperStroke Flatso 1.0 grip stock, which is made primarily to eliminate tension in the hands and stabilize them.
