Mizuno has built its reputation on forged irons that combine craftsmanship with performance. The newest additions to that legacy arrive with the Mizuno Pro M-13 and M-15 irons, now available at Worldwide Golf.
Part of Mizuno’s Modern Series, the two models take slightly different approaches while sharing the same goal: blending the feel and shaping Mizuno players expect with technology that supports speed, launch, and control.
A Modern Approach to Forged Performance
The M-13 and M-15 are designed as a progression from long iron to wedge. Instead of treating every club in the set the same way, Mizuno adjusts construction and materials throughout the bag.
Long irons focus on speed and launch. Mid irons balance speed and control. Scoring irons return to more traditional forging for precision and feel.
This progression allows both models to maintain a consistent look at address while adapting performance where it matters most.
Mizuno Pro M-13: Speed in the Long Irons, Precision in the Scoring Clubs

The Mizuno Pro M-13 continues the lineage of the Mizuno Pro 243, combining compact shaping with a multi-material construction.
Long irons (4-5) feature a pocket cavity Grain Flow Forged construction using Chromoly 4120 and 431 stainless steel. The stronger material supports higher ball speeds and more distance in clubs that often demand extra help launching the ball.
Mid irons (6-8) move into a Micro-Slot Grain Flow Forged design. A thinner face increases flex slightly, which contributes to controlled ball speed while maintaining the responsive feel associated with Mizuno forged irons.
Scoring irons (9-GW) transition to a one-piece 1025 Elite Grain Flow Forged construction. This traditional forging focuses on trajectory control, feedback, and the precision golfers look for in the scoring portion of the set.
Across the set, Mizuno incorporates its thin, multi-material Contour Ellipse Face that increases ball speed while maintaining the responsive feel players expect from a forged head.
Mizuno Pro M-15: Added Launch and Stability

The Mizuno Pro M-15 follows a similar philosophy but leans slightly toward higher launch and added forgiveness.
The long and mid irons (4-8) use a multi-material hollow construction. A Grain Flow Forged Chromoly face and neck are paired with a stainless steel back section to increase rebound efficiency and ball speed.
To support launch and stability, the M-15 integrates suspended tungsten weighting in the long and mid irons. The additional mass shifts the center of gravity lower, helping shots launch higher while maintaining stability across the face.
From 9-iron through gap wedge, the set transitions to a partial hollow 1025E forged body with a stainless steel back. This construction keeps the feel and control in the scoring irons while maintaining the modern structure used earlier in the set.
The result is a design that offers added forgiveness and launch without moving away from the compact proportions many players prefer.
Sole Design That Supports Clean Turf Interaction

Both models include carefully shaped soles designed to move smoothly through the turf.
The Triple Cut Sole on the M-13 features a sharp leading edge paired with beveled trailing relief. This design helps the club enter and exit the turf more cleanly from a variety of lies.
The M-15 uses refined sole geometry with added bounce, allowing the head to glide through the ground while maintaining consistent contact.
In either case, the goal is to keep the interaction between club and turf predictable for each club.
Feel Tuned Through Harmonic Impact Technology
Mizuno places a strong emphasis on impact feel, and both models use Harmonic Impact Technology to fine-tune vibration and sound.
Combined with a copper underlay and carefully shaped cavity structures, the system helps produce the soft yet solid impact sensation that has long defined Mizuno forged irons.
Both irons are finished with a Nickel Chrome Satin finish, reducing glare at address while maintaining the refined look associated with the Mizuno Pro line.
Two Models, One Modern Series

The M-13 and M-15 launch as part of Mizuno’s Modern Series, which sits alongside the company’s Signature Series models.
While both share compact shaping and forged construction, the differences allow golfers to choose based on their preferences:
• Mizuno Pro M-13: Designed for players seeking a traditional look with added speed in the longer irons and precision in the scoring clubs.
• Mizuno Pro M-15: Built for golfers who want higher launch and added stability while maintaining the feel and shaping of a forged Mizuno iron.
