Grace Kim | Amundi Evian Championship

Grace Kim etched her name in LPGA history by winning the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship in a dramatic playoff at Evian Resort Golf Club in France. The 24-year-old Australian outlasted world No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul with an astonishing eagle-birdie-eagle finish, securing her first major title and second career LPGA victory. Kim’s final-round 67, capped by a playoff eagle on the second extra hole, showcased her resilience and skill under pressure.

A Dramatic Comeback

Kim trailed Thitikul by two shots heading into the 18th hole but stunned the field with a 4-hybrid shot from 190 yards that rolled to within two feet for an eagle, forcing a playoff. After chipping in for birdie on the first playoff hole despite a penalty drop, she sealed the win with another eagle on the second playoff hole. This marked the third consecutive first-time major winner at Evian, following Ayaka Furue and Celine Boutier.
