Great bag, except for...

Love everything about the bag except the club tangle. I feel like I have to jam the club in the bag, or constantly jiggle the bag around to get the clubs to sit properly.

Love everything about the bag except club tangle

This bag is almost perfect but the club tangle and jamming is awful. I find myself having to wiggle clubs around to get them properly set inside. I have the camo hoofer and really wish they offered it in 14 slots with full dividers.

Gold bag

Very nice golf back and also very light concerning weight. Love it.

Great bag.. but the club tangle.

Have had this bag for 1yr. Great bag from a pocket organization standpoint. My issue is the club tangle with my Ping G425's and stock Golf Pride grips is absolutley terrible. Constantly having to almost jam the club in the bag. I think I have one extra wedge so not like my bag is overpacked. Also one of the pins in the leg someow popped out and dissappeared so I have to now repair that. These are issues product managment should have easily figured out. I would look to a different bag and I will be getting rid of mine after paying a pretty penny for it.. (the Hoofer 14 looks much better)

Bag has everything BUT Club Tangle is terrible....

Bag has everything you could ask for BUT the Club Tangle is terrible. I love all the pockets and colors. I just can't get past it not having full length dividers.

Overcomplicating it

I only have 11 clubs in the bag and some how they're still all tangled up at the bottom. Pulling one brings out a couple others and putting them away requires finagling with surrounding clubs. Going back to my Taylor made from 12 years ago that's a breeze to use. Does no one at ping test out the bag before selling it?

Pings best Hoofer yet

Love this redesigned hoofer and can instantly feel the quality of materials and craftsmanship in construction. Not inexpensive but worth it for the seriously hooked golfer who wants a quality bag and great looks!

Great bag

Great bag- lost of pockets. Sturdy enough for walking, but is perfect in a cart. Don't think about it, just get it.

5 way top Failure

When the top fails stand is no longer effective and bag falls over when loaded with clubs. Stand is ineffective due to top failing.

Love the look and storage, but the club tangle…

Really had hoped with the newly engineered bottom this bag would be much easier to put in and take out clubs but I was wrong. Actually more difficult than my 12yr old ping hoofer.

Only way I can get the clubs put in easily is if it is standing completely up. If I have use the stand then forget it, tough to pull the clubs out and even more difficult to put them back in.

Love love love the camo look on this one and the US flag patch is a nice touch. Just fix the dividers and bottom on these ping.

Also bought all new irons, woods, hybrids and wedges to go

In this bag and to know they can easily get dinged up isn't a good feeling

Versatile and Lightweight

Purchase this item as a birthday gift for my husband to replace his old bulky golf bag. He couldn't wait to switch his stuff over right away, and made mention of its great pockets, light weight, and grab handle.

Great Bag

I've had several PING bags over the last 20 years, and this bag has everything. Better than the last generation, it's much easier to get your clubs in and out of the bag. Love it!

Just Get This Bag; You Won't Regret It.

This really is an outstanding bag, made with quality, durable materials. Additionally, it has an incredible amount of storage, with more pockets than I know what to do with (which is a good thing as I'm a bit of a pack rat on the course). I've not experienced any club tangle issues, as I try to put my clubs in the same general spot throughout the round.

Great bag. Tons of useful features, great to carry or in cart. Easy to get clubs in and out.

Miserable for getting clubs in and out of

Purchased new at beginning of this golf season and have struggled every round getting clubs in/out of bag. This issue is only compounded if you place this bag on a cart (and 'yes' I understand this bag is built for walking, but it is also clearly built for cart riding). Terribly upset I purchased this product and unfortunately at this point will be buying again another bag at end of this season.

Very well-crafted bag

Very sturdy carry bag, with plenty of pockets, but not much weight.

Major improvement with club tangle!

I had the 2021 Ping Hoofer and like many have said, the bag is great except for the major issue of clubs constantly getting stuck, tangled, and jammed taking them in and out. There were multiple times where I literally could not get an iron out of the bag and needed to select a different club. My club shafts started to mark excessively due to me constantly forcing a club into place. I played a round recently and a club hot completely stuck again. At that point, I had enough and swung by the golf store to get a new bag.

The recent reviews here indicated Ping seemingly made an improvement so I figured I'd give the Hoofer another shot given the quality of the rest of the bag. The plan was to immediately return it if there was no improvement. It probably looked a bit crazy but I spent 5 solid minutes outside of the golf store taking clubs in and out of the bag. I did not have high expectations so to my surprise, there was very minimal jamming. Huge win!

I'm keeping the bag for now and time will tell if there's truly been a major design upgrade or I just got lucky but so far so good. The zippers and pocket design are top notch as always.

Best Bag

This is my first Hoofer and I've had it for a few weeks. I've had carry bags from Sun Mountain, Vice, and Sunday. This is by far my favorite bag. I use MCC +4 Standard grips and often carry a 15th club + my weighted sklz warm up tool. I have absolutely no issue with clubs gripping even with 16 grips and shafts in the bag. The pockets are unbelievable. The stand is extremely sturdy. It may weigh the same as previous bags but it feels lighter. My shoulders feel more comfortable and my back is less sore after a round of carrying. I hesitated to buy a Hoofer for over a year now because of the reviews of clubs getting stuck and I really don't understand how so many people see that as a problem worthy of a negative review. My experience taking clubs out/putting them in this bag is no different than any other bag I've had, but the Hoofer is by far the best at everything else. 10/10
